Introducing All of This & More with Charlotte Donlon
A Note from Charlotte
I made a new thing right in time for my 50th birthday. Welcome to All of This & More with Charlotte Donlon.
Why It Matters: In a world that feels increasingly fragmented, longing for connection and meaning is what inspired me to create this podcast.
>>> One reason I love this podcast is that I feel zero pressure to stay in one lane. I’m not a single-lane type of gal.
>>> I may decide last minute that I want to merge into that lane over there, or take the next exit, turn around, and go back to where I started, or continue past that point to where I was last fall or three summers ago. (It’s me. Hi. This is me making the podcast I want to make.)
Each mini-season consists of five new episodes, with one or two mini-seasons released each month.
>>> First up—coming April 29 (Happy birthday to me!)—is a series of author conversations with four fantastic women and a solo reflection on new beginnings.
I’m thrilled about all of the other ideas I have for each new mini-season. They are quite abundant, of course.
It’s on.
Thanks so much for joining me here. More soon.
Please check out the introductory episode, subscribe to your favorite platform, and be on the lookout for the first mini-season dropping on Tuesday.

Hello, and welcome to the introductory episode of All of This & More with Charlotte Donlon. I'm so glad you're here. Whether you're listening on your morning walk, driving home from work, or curled up in your favorite chair with a cup of tea. Thank you for making time for this new exploration.
Have you ever found yourself lingering in this space where art, faith, doubt, and wonder overlap, hoping for more surety about what it means to belong more deeply to yourself, to others, to the divine? In a world that feels increasingly fragmented, longing for connection and meaning is what inspired me to create this podcast.
I am Charlotte Donlon, your host. I'm a writer, a spiritual director, and a gatherer of people, ideas, and stories. I live in Birmingham, Alabama with my husband, and I'm a mom to two grown children still getting used to our nearly empty nest. My days are filled with writing, taking lots of walks, engaging with art in all its forms, and helping my spiritual direction clients explore the mysteries of belonging and creativity.
For years I've had the honor of being a part of countless conversations with others listening to people wrestle with big questions and reflect on ordinary moments. I wanted to create a space where we could continue those kinds of conversations together without feeling like we have to stay in one lane. I imagine this podcast as a network of interstates, highways, back roads, and dirt paths, giving us freedom to travel toward our curiosities and change our routes as the journey unfolds.
We all need spaces where we can be curious and open to surprise. Where we can wrestle with doubt and discover beauty and wonder in unexpected places. This podcast is my invitation for you to join me in that kind of space.
I couldn't have launched this show without the encouragement of my family, especially my husband, my mom, and my cousin Hillary, who have all cheered me on and supported me in many ways through every new endeavor and a few other podcasts, Many, many thanks to Paul Wilm, a Birmingham artist who created the mixed media piece I bought almost 15 years ago that ended up being the perfect fit for the show's logo and artwork. I look forward to sharing more about Paul and his art in the near future. I'm also grateful for my friends and fellow writers who have listened to my many ideas and helped me shape them into something real. And to all of you who have followed my writing and work and encouraged me along the way, thank you. You are the heartbeat of this project.
Here's what you can expect: All of This & More will release a new mini-season of five episodes once or twice each month. If you haven't already, please subscribe on your favorite podcast platform or YouTube, so you'll be among the first to know when new episodes drop. Your support means the world, and it helps others find the show, too. Each mini-season will feature a mix of solo reflections, thoughtful conversations with guest artists, writers, spiritual directors, and other seekers, as well as contemplative practices and prompts you can try on your own.
We'll explore questions about art, faith, doubt, and belonging. And I'd love for you to be a part of the conversation. You can find me on Instagram and Blue Sky at Charlotte Donlon, all one word. You can also submit questions and show ideas at allofthisandmore.com. Also, make sure you check out. Information about my guests and the show notes at allofthisandmore.com.
Thank you for joining me here. I can't wait to see how things unfold in the coming weeks and months. Until next time, take care and remember to put yourself in the way of art and other good things. More soon.
